Input Luck - randomness before a player acts (randomly generated terrain) supports strategy

→ Great: creates interesting situations → Bad: may lead to resetting

Output - randomness after the player has acted (Lootboxes) undercuts strategy

→ Great: simulate abstract parts of battle system (balance) → Bad: can be extremely frustrating
